Chickpea falafel

Falafel is a dish of Arabic origin. It's like a chickpea croquette, served as an entrance or accompanying any type of preparation that you want.

It is a very good option to incorporate legumes into our diet and to vary the menu options we prepare at home.

They are also great for children to be encouraged to try.

Here I have the recipe for these simple, quick-fried Falafel of chickpeas, full of flavor, and different nutrients so that we can contribute to keeping our organism healthy and well nourished.


Ingredients:
Amount Ingredient
200g Chickpeas
1 tbsp Thyme
1 teaspoon Chopped garlic
1 teaspoon Cumin
Necessary quantity Salt (optional)
1 teaspoom Baking powder
2 tbsp Corn starch

Procedure:
Soak the chickpeas in water for approximately 12 hours, then drain and wash them.

Process them together with the other ingredients until a paste is formed.

Take a little of the pasta and start to shape balls of the size that you like. Once they are all armed, place them on a pan spread with oil and take them to the oven until golden brown.


Tips:
If the cake becomes very dry add a little water, but do not forget that the consistency must be firm so you can shape it.

They are usually accompanied with natural yoghurt sauce.

I usually accompany them with fresh salads or meats.
